WHO WE ARE
The Canadian Production Design Association (CPD) is a national not-for-profit trade association representing and supporting production designers and the art department across Canada. Founded in 2023, the CPD brings together production designers, art directors, set decorators, and the many artists, craftspeople, and collaborators who shape the visual worlds of film and television.
CPD creates national platforms for connection, professional development, knowledge-sharing, sustainability, and industry engagement while strengthening the visibility and recognition of Canadian production design at home and internationally.

The Canadian Production Design Association (CPD) is dedicated to elevating the art and craft of production design, uniting and empowering Canadian production designers, art directors, set decorators, and their art departments to shape the visual stories that captivate the world.
